Hoppy Easter!!

We had a nice Easter this year.  We attended the annual Port Austin egg hunt the day before Easter, which was chilly but a lot of fun!  Easter morning we woke up to SNOW covering the ground which was not too exciting, but it melted pretty quickly!  The Easter bunny visited and hid eggs and baskets for all of us, which Macy did a great job finding!  Uncle Mikey joined us for church and breakfast, and we had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's along with Uncle Brian, Aunt Marlena, and Julia.  It was a fun day!

Macy wore this hat on her first Easter.  Macy was 1 week old on her first Easter, so she was MUCH smaller when she wore it.  I managed to squeeze it on him though!  :)

Hudson's 1st Month

We are playing catch up a bit.  For some reason we have been a little busy around the Polega house lately!!

Hudson has his 1 month check up in March.  He clocked in at an impressive 12 lbs, 11 oz in the 95th percentile!!  He is our little chunker!  We are pretty certain they mis-measured his length at birth because he was still measuring in at 22 inches long.  He started smiling right around his 1 month-day.  We were pretty cooped up in the house for the first month because it was COLD outside, but we did manage to get plenty of photos!

Hudson's Newborn Photo Shoot

When Hudson was 5 days old, the ladies of Herzog Lane Photography came over to the house for a newborn photo shoot.  It went very well, Hudson slept through the whole thing and Macy did a great job in the shots she was in.  Here are some favorites:
