We celebrated Macy's birthday party this weekend!  Macy had a wonderful time at her big party and very much enjoying the cake, gifts, and seeing her favorite friends and family members!  Here are some pictures from her day!

They Say It's Your Birthday...

Macy is One!  We can not believe that this day is already here!  I took today off of work to spend the day with my little sweetie.  We had a fun day just hanging out together.  We also had a little cake with Daddy when he got home from work and Macy opened a couple of little presents.  Her big birthday party is this Saturday, so she's not done celebrating yet! 

My friend Megan was also kind enough to do a 1 year photo shoot with Macy this past weekend, here are some of my favorites!  Thanks, Megan!

Soaking in the Florida Sun!

We took our first major family vacation this past week!  TJ, Macy, and I packed up and headed to Cocoa Beach, FL for the week.  We are lucky because my dad and Chris own a beautiful oceanfront condo there where we were able to stay.  Because of spring break plane tickets to Orlando were ridiculously expensive so we took on the 20 hour drive.  We did most of the driving over night which was tougher on mom and dad but made the drive easier on Macy because she slept through almost all of it.  It actually wasn't that bad (barring some bad traffic in Tenessee on the way down).  We had a GREAT time!  Perfect weather and the beach and pool were a blast.  Macy LOVED the water and sand!  My family went on a lot of vacations together when I was growing up and they make up some of my fondest memories.  I feel so blessed to be able to create some of these same types of memories for Macy that we'll all cherish for a lifetime!

Macy's Last Month-day

It is so hard to believe that our little peanut is going to be a year old in less than a month!  Everyone tells you that the time flies by but you never truly know what they're talking about until you experience the warp speed that is watching your baby grow up!  Macy is as happy, fun, and adorable as ever.  She also hit another major milestone this month...she finally started crawling and proceeded right to climbing up on everything and cruising along the furniture.  It's gotten even busier around the Polega household!  Here are some recent pictures of our little Doodle Bug (the kid has so many nicknames, I'm not sure she knows which one is her actual name!)  =)
