I am not sure the word "busy" really does justice in describing the last month and a half of our lives! School is in full swing, we're still finishing up house projects, Michigan State football season is upon us, and the Polega's have been BUSY! I haven't updated in so long that this post will contain lots of pictures in attempts to catch up a bit!
Back in August (yes I'm just getting to do something with these pictures I've been too busy to even get them uploaded onto my computer!) my friend Stephanie took some family photos of us out at Port Crescent State Park. They turned out AMAZING and we are so thankful to have this special moment in time for our family captured. It is impossible for me to pick my favorite, so here are some of them.
Macy also recently turned 17 months....it is hard to believe we are already almost half way to two! It really is true that time flies by so fast when you have a child...and even though we are extremely busy we are doing out best to enjoy every minute!
Macy is still talking up a storm, she probably uses at least 25 (probably more) different words now, and she recognizes some shapes and lots of animals. She still eats everything in sight. She has been struggling with separation anxiety dropping her at daycare, but it is improving. We're down to a small wimper as opposed to the screaming and clinging we were dealing with for several weeks. Mumma is definitely looking forward to this stage passing!
17 months in her Minnie chair on MSU game day (can you tell?) When you ask her what Sparty says, she replies "Go Green!" That's my girl!
We took Macy to the MSU/EMU football game last weekend. She was a real trooper and made it to half time!
Family Tailgating Photo
I recently found my old teddy bear from when I was little in a box from moving so I washed it and gave it to Macy...as you can see she loves it!
We did a little photo shoot out at Lighthouse Park with Daddy's Corvette
Wild Hair!
Macy and her cousin, Julia, Kinde Polka Fest weekend. You can't really read it but her shirt says "Made in America with Polish Parts." TJ and I bought it when I was still pregnant and the smallest size they had was 18 months so she finally grew into it!
I can't promise the next blog post will be any time real soon, but we'll try to stay as up to date as possible with the holidays approaching (hard to believe!)
