Not Goodbye, but Until I See You Again...

This week we lost a precious family member, my step-brother, Macy's Uncle Mike.  He had a smile and a laugh that could light up a room, and we will never forget it, or him.  We are just so thankful that we got to have him in our lives as long as we did.  We love and miss you, Uncle Mikey.

Macy loved swimming so much in FL I took her to the Econo Lodge in Bad Axe for a swim in the pool!

Two years ago today our world was flipped upside down and our lives haven't been the same since!  Macy, you bring so much joy to Mumma and Daddy every day, and we are so proud to be your parents!  We love you!

Spring Break 2013!

We headed down to Florida for my Spring Break again this year.  My dad previously promised his condo in Cocoa Beach to a family friend for the week so we decided to head somewhere new- the Florida Keys this year!  Macy had her first plane trip (we flew into Miami then drove down to the Keys).  She was so well-behaved on the plane.  We had a wonderful vacation and had perfect weather.  It was sure nice to get out of cold Michigan for the week!

We are back in Michigan now and gearing up for the home stretch of the school year!  We are ready for some more Florida-like weather too...it's been a cold spring!  Macy Doodle also has a BIG day coming up.....she'll be two on the 17th!  More pictures to come from birthday festivities!

Catching Up!

I have been having a hard time keeping up with picture taking and the blog this school year.  My new job in Caseville has been EXTREMELY demanding along with having a toddler running around it's been a busy year to say the least!  I thought I'd throw in a blog post here to do some catching up...so some of these photos are a month or more old!  We are heading to Florida in a couple of weeks for vacation and SOMEBODY has a big 2nd birthday coming up, so we'll definitely have some updates surrounding those important events!

Macy will officially be 23 months old on Sunday.  I thought the first year went by sooo fast but this one has been even faster.  Our family has been through a lot of changes this year...mostly good though!  Macy is talking up a storm, knows many colors and songs and can count to ten.  She surprises us every day with the things she comes up with!!  Here are some photos of what we've been up to!
