BUSTED! Our little tech geek
Fifteen Months Old on 7/17/12!
One of Macy's favorite things to do in the morning. Sit in her Minnie chair while we pile as many toys on top of her as she can hold!
Gangsta Pose
One Saturday I babysat my adorable 6 month old niece, Julia. We had a fun time but Macy was NOT in any mood to share her Mumma! Guess peanut #2 will have to wait a while longer! =)
Macy and Julia playing together
My toys I will share. But stay away from my Mumma!
About as good of a picture as you can get a 6 month old and 15 month old to pose for!
Adorable!
I got Macy some water color paints a couple of weeks ago. She had a good time painting a picture for Grandpa for his birthday!
Daddy's 34th birthday was on July 30th. He requested Key Lime Pie for his birthday dessert. As evidenced by the whipped cream face, Macy had no problem helping him eat it!
This is kind of a big deal. We struggled for a LONG time to get Macy to drink milk out of a sippy. Water, no problem. Milk, chuck the sippy across the room. And drinking cold milk that hadn't been warmed in a bottle OR sippy? FORGET IT! We are proud to announce that this month Macy started drinking COLD milk out of a SIPPY on a consistant basis. No more bottle scrubbing for mom! YAY!
Enjoying a beautiful summer evening
Macy is still a GREAT baby and she is so much fun! Her favorite things at the moment include eating graham crackers, flopping around (and butt-plopping) on couches and/or beds, stuffed animals (she LOVES hugging as many as can fit in her arms and it is SOOOO cute), and reading books....she LOVES books and now that she's been very mobile, she gets her books off of her shelf and brings them to us to read!
Our family as a whole is going through some pretty huge changes this month as well. At the beginning of the month I was hired as the new HS/7th grade science teacher at Caseville Public School. I resigned from my job at Warren Woods, which was bittersweet because I will miss the staff and kids there. BUT we now get to make the move back to Port Austin and live closer to our families! This is something we've wanted to do for a while. TJ will keep his current job, work from home around 3-ish days a week and commute to the city 1-2 days a week. We are moving into our "cottage" after some pretty extensive rennovations (what we've been doing all summer!) Our house here in Highland is officially rented out. As of Sept. 1st this is officially somebody else's home. We love our house here and it holds some special memories for us (we did get married and have our first baby here). But, we are excited for the move and making new memories in a new place. I'm also excited for the new job (especially a 15 mile commute instead of the 50 mile commute I had going to Warren!)
We are so excited for what the future holds!
